Corey grew up in Collinsville Texas. After high school Corey moved to Chicago, Illinois to play baseball for Morton College but moved back to DFW after an elbow injury ended his baseball career. Corey attended Collin College and after completion of school became a firefighter and paramedic for the City of North Richland Hills. Corey moved Denton, Texas where he met and married his wife Erin. Corey and Erin still reside in Denton and have two sons, Jaxon and Jett. Corey currently continues to work for the City of Denton as a firefighter and paramedic.
